I’ve learned the lesson of respecting the job you have, and the people who work around you, regardless of the many variables that make for a satisfactory or unfulfilling work experience.
I’ve done my share of stupid things at a work site, being a single guy with little responsibilities at home and not caring much for the consequences that losing my job may convey. I’ve also been blessed with many opportunities and wise direction from family and friends.
With that in mind, I can only feel pity when I encounter people that have yet to learn that lesson. I reckon that is something which you only learn the hard way and not necessarily by advice or testimony.
